Restaurant Review : Inamo

Inamo : Soho London

You have to try it!

Inamo is a modern Pan-Asian Fusion Restaurant with a twist, located in Soho and Covent Garden, London. The food is not only delicious but the atmosphere is energetic and the concept is revolutionary.

Inamo brings the future of restaurant experiences to you! The only interaction you have with the waiters is when you enter the restaurant to be seated and when you are brought the bill, because the entire table is a touchscreen. It is fun and simple enough for anyone to use.

How?

On the bottom right of the table there is a small circular pad which acts like a mouse pad for a computer; you move your finger over it to move your cursor across the table and tap the pad when you want to click something. There are buttons for every need including Food, Drinks, Services (like ordering the bill or calling the waiter if there is a problem) as well as Games and helpful things like ordering a taxi or finding a cool bar to visit next. The food is separated into Appetisers and Main Meals and each option projects an image of the chosen food in the middle of your area on the table to show you what the food looks like, with small description and price at the side. All you have to do is click order!

What I ordered:

  • Tropical Storm Cocktail ( came with half a passion fruit on top and a sprinkle of cinnamon )
  • Satay Chicken Skewers ( came with peanut sauce on the side and coconut flakes on top )
  • Claypot Green Thai Curry with Chicken ( came in a beautiful claypot with wooden spoon )
  • Korean Chicken Wings ( came in sweet-sticky sauce with coconut flakes on top )
  • Baby Malayan Chicken ( came on a bamboo board decorated with a banana leaf )

Price: approx £60

The restaurant also has an amazing selection of sushi, sashimi, curries, soups, asian tapas and much more ...

Rating:

I would say the food is a 9.5/10 because not only is it delicious it is also beautifully presented. The only improvement could be the portions could be a bit bigger but my dinner guest and I were still full and satisfied by the end of the meal.

The overall rating would be an 8.5/10 because the food and atmosphere was amazing but the only downside was the price, however it is nice for a treat and I would definitely recommend it!

My Style:

It was a slightly warmer day here in Canada so I threw on some blue ripped jeans, a loose, black tank top with lace trimming from Urban Outfitters and a baggy grey cardigan with a black lace back also from Urban Outfitters - black ankle Timberland boots too of course.

Beauty Tips ~ Teeth

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is an amazing way to naturally whiten teeth! The oil is used in a method called "oiling pulling" where all you have to do is swirl it around in your mouth for about 5 minutes and spit it out into the sink. Cocowhite is a company who have cleverly reinvented coconut oil pulling and made it easy for anyone to do. They sell boxes of 14 sachets which last for two weeks (one is meant to be used per day) and come in three different flavours to make it extra enjoyable. The flavours are vanilla swirl, light lemon and minty fresh. You can buy boxes of just one flavour or a box of mixed all for all £19.99. Cocowhite coconut oil sachets are 100% natural and only contain coconut oil - no added chemicals. Order a box now by clicking the button below:

My Style:

Monocrome

Today I wore a black and white checked dress I bought at The Clothes Show that's from an independent designer called "Lily and the Lamplight". I wore it with a warm, black autumn coat from Urban Outfitters, knee-high black socks and black Timberland ankle boots.

@The Birmingham Clothes Show

Held in the vibrant city of Birmingham, The Clothes Show is the epicentre of the British Fashion Festival. I was lucky enough to get my hands on Platinum tickets and have the full experience the show had to offer. When we arrived, Platinum ticket holders were given an extra good bag full of free beauty products, additional magazines, show guides as well as cosmetics and other treats. After the first checkout point, we were enveloped in a huge warehouse with everything beauty or fashion stall you could think of. Luxurious hair products, top make-up brands, independent student boutiques, vintage clothes stalls, perfect gift stalls, teeth whitening brands and all for amazing discount prices.

The show also had special guests from shows like Made in Chelsea, Geordie Shore and The Only Way is Essex to give fashion advice, beauty tips and updates on their own personal lives and shows.

The shopping opportunities lasted all day but at 16:30 there was an amazing fashion theatre performance. Each dance performance had a different theme (there was about 10 different ones) and between the dancers would be a stream of models walking the catwalk. Every performance had incredible visual effects, dancers and designs. Here is a link to a clip of one of the performances and some photos:
